Lovely stay at Downton Lodge
Andrew and Martin were the perfect hosts, friendly, welcoming and ready to help if needed.It is a beautiful house in lovely, peaceful surroundings. The interior was stunning with Renee Macintosh stained glass windows. It was spotlessly clean and comfortable with thoughtful touches including a well stocked area for making drinks outside the room.Breakfast was served in the conservatory and featured a wide range of choices to suit all tastes.The room was comfy and had countryside views.It was easy to get to Dartmouth, Totnes and Stoke Gabriel. There was a friendly dining pub 5 minutes drive away.We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning in the future
Downton Lodge B&B
Wonderful stay in a lovely peaceful location, convenient for visiting Dartmouth. Andrew and Martin were perfect hosts and set us up each day with a superb breakfast. Would definitely make a return visit on our next trip to the area.

Thanks again to Martin and Andrew, they really know how a b&b should be run. We've been here numerous times and it never disappoints in fact I think it just gets better.This is a special place for us which we have introduced to others who can see what we mean. We've been to many b&b's around the country but this has never been beaten. From the location, rooms, breakfast and the hosts this is still the best!
